The IAPBC seeks to provide support annually for various cultural, educational, and charitable purposes. Funds raised by our highly successful networking event Viva La Panza as well as our Morra Tournament and Golf Outing are highly impactful ways our organization fulfills its mission to preserve our Italian heritage and support initiatives associated with our Italian American ideals. The strategic funding initiatives are education (through ten $5000 scholarships), Italian culture, heritage and traditions, and project/impact grants. The funds not only benefit our local Italian American community, our purposeful giving and positive outcomes fuel a deep sense of pride amongst our dedicated membership. In addition to our annual budgeting process, the IAPBC maintains a Scholarship Fund at the Akron Community Foundation, endeavoring to raise over $1 million for scholarships to high school seniors of Italian descent. Both the IAPBC and the Akron Community Foundation funds are 501(c)3 tax-deductible organizations. For more information, contact members@IAPBC.org.

The IAPBC Endowment Fund at Akron Community Foundation 501(c)3 is now accepting tax-deductible contributions. Please visit www.akroncf.org to contribute or contact Laura Lederer llederer@akroncf.org.
